Dancop A/S
Slangerup

Quality Manager

At Dancop, we are looking for a new hands-on Quality Manager who will continue the development of the Dancop Quality System. If you are coming with a Quality background and interest within ESG, then you are the one we are looking for! The main reason for joining us, as a SMV company, is that you will have a big influence on Quality from A-Z at Dancop.

“Today you are potentially part of a larger quality department, but now you are ready to take the next step and put yourself in the driver's seat for quality development at Dancop Group.”

Dancop is part of a well-consolidated and international company with well-functioning technology that prioritizes workplace safety and sustainability. Our international angle means that our quality system must embrace both our production site in Slangerup, as well as our logistics and sales site in Peine in Germany.

Education and work experience:

You come with the following experience:

  • Practical experience in the quality area and preferably from a production engineering environment
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a similar position, where you have gained knowledge of and results in quality assurance and ISO 9001 in a manufacturing company
  • Your educational background is not specified, but you come with an analytical mindset.

You will be responsible for Dancops ESG journey, but knowing that is a relatively new business subject, we do not expect you to have a lot of experience with ESG. You should have an interest in ESG – and have the toolbox to implement and make it alive in the organization. In the future we need to comply with CSRD (reporting), and therefore it is important that you are data driven.

At Dancop, we work with IT and robots, so it is important that you are used to using a PC as a work tool and are familiar with Microsoft Office. We use Microsoft Dynamics Navision as our ERP system, so if you have experience with this, it would be an advantage (but not a requirement).

Tasks and areas of responsibility:

Professionally, you will be responsible for:

  • Dancop Quality System
  • Internal auditing of our quality system and work processes
  • Training of employees in quality assurance
  • Daily quality assurance at the production site in Slangerup
  • Development of the Dancop Quality System according to ISO 9001:2015
  • Upcoming ISO 9001:2015 certification in Slangerup
  • Contact TÜV in Germany, which certifies our products
  • Coordination of projects related to the introduction, improvement, and maintenance of the quality area
  • Manage continuous improvement and corrective actions
  • Cooperation with other departments within planning, production, logistics, R&D, administration, and sales
  • Define targets for the quality area and ensure continuous follow-up and
  • Manage subcontractors in relation to quality.

Success criteria:

You will be successful in the job by taking full ownership of our quality system across all areas. The system is not fully developed for all areas, so you will be a significant contributor and the goal is for us to become ISO 9001 certified, and therefore experience with similar processes is necessary.

You are structured and systematic, but at the same time have a flexible and hands-on approach to everyday life where you demonstrate impact and achieve results. If you are good at verbal and non-verbal communication with technical and non-technical employees, and have a strong business and process understanding, this will benefit you in the job. You will be part of setting the direction within Quality and ESG – and formulating the procedures, instructions etc.

As a person, you are good at keeping an overview and handling complex situations, and you have a determined personality. You are cooperative and service-minded, but independent, self-driven and proactive.

Location and travel activity:

The position is associated with some travel activity which will amount to a maximum of 15-25 days per year. This could be trips to the site in Peine (Germany) and visits to various suppliers / business partners.

You are offered:

  • An attractive workplace with good and skilled colleagues
  • An international working environment with an informal and humorous tone
  • Exciting tasks and responsibilities
  • Good professional and personal development opportunities

The position is expected to be filled as soon as possible.

If you have questions about the position, write to Head of Production Pawel Skarbinski at ps@dancop.dk. This communication must be in English.

Send your CV in English and short cover letter if possible via the button “Apply”.
