Data Engineer for Condition Monitoring and Machine Optimization

Do you want to play a key role in improving performance in the pharmaceutical and industrial manufacturing? Are you passionate about finding patterns in data? And do you dream of a flexible work week with room for a life in balance? Then you might be our new Data Engineer.

Work for data-driven manufacturing excellence in vital industries

We provide globally leading pharmaceutical and industrial manufacturing companies with end-to-end production software solutions – standardized and custom – within data collection & decision support, traceability, digital print, vision inspection, and automated test.

As Data Engineer, you will implement our CATCH.AI data platform at our customers’ production sites and help them turn data into tangible actions and value.

CATCH.AI provides a good foundation for acquiring and displaying data from machines, PLC's and sensors, but as all customer cases are unique, we are looking for an engineer who can apply the tool, set it up to acquire the right data and help the customers make use of the data.

Your primary responsibilities are:

  • Gain an understanding of our customers’ machines and processes.
  • Help customers make decisions on what data to acquire, how to extract the data from the PLC and additional sensors.
  • Analyze the acquired data to find patterns that best describe machine performance.

When not working on customer projects, you will also

  • Investigate new AI and ML methods to derive value from data. You will be instrumental in ensuring that we are always on top of the latest developments and have the right input for future solutions.
  • Help with software development tasks to build your learnings into the platform.

Data engineer with programming experience and an eye for data patterns

We imagine that you

  • are excited about data, data analysis and finding patterns.
  • have some experience programming with larger amounts of data, i.e. in C#/Python.
  • Have experience with C# already or have experience with other development tools and are interested in learning C#.
  • have a relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering (electronics, low voltage, software, mechanics, etc.), or Software Engineering.
  • have good communication and collaborative skills and are a strong team player.
  • combine business acumen with a secure sense of how best to create value in your work.
  • speak and write English at a professional level.

We encourage anyone qualified to apply for the position regardless of age, gender, religion or ethnicity.

Adapt your schedule to fit your lifestyle

You are the expert on what makes you happy and efficient. So, whether that entails a 4-day work week or working in the evening or from home that is simply how you will be working.
