Technical Writer to GE HealthCare Denmark

Our Technical Documentation team consists of six dedicated and passionate specialists with a mix of seniority, educational backgrounds, and nationalities. Our Technical Writers develop and maintain the user documentation for our high-performance equipment. Our translation coordinators make sure we have the documentation translated into +25 languages and ready for the release of products to new and existing markets.

As our new Technical Writer your typical tasks will include:

  • Research, design, write, review, and edit instructions for use in a timely manner
  • Liaise with the team to improve the documentation on an ongoing basis
  • Work on and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Keep up to date with developments and trends within the industry
  • Liaise with other departments especially R&D, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs and Project Management to get the right information and approvals on your project deliveries
  • Support the integration into GE HealthCare’s processes and systems incl. a change of content management system, version control system and various procedures related to writing and maintaining the instructions for use

Your professional background:

We prefer you bring at least 3 years of experience from a technical writer job. Experience from another medical device or machinery company is a plus, as well as experience with Microsoft Office, Tridion Docs, Adobe FrameMaker and other Adobe programs.

In addition, you:

  • Have writing and editing experience and a passion for creating and developing user documentation
  • Are fluent in written and spoken English, Danish an advantage and other languages a plus
  • Can collaborate across different departments on complicated technical projects
  • Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Can manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Have a resilient mindset and thrive in a changing environment
  • Can communicate information and ideas clearly from a customer’s perspective
  • Can interpret and apply regulations, policies and/or procedures
