Role:

We're looking for a self-motivated and visionary individual eager to employ data analytics to drive value across our portfolio companies. As an integral part of our investment team, you will spearhead our analytical initiatives, working closely with the investment team and our portfolio companies. Overall purpose: To identify data analytics opportunities and transform them into MVPs and, eventually, comprehensive solutions in collaboration with external partners. From the inception of use-cases to the MVP development stage, your expertise will be crucial. As we progress beyond MVPs, we expect to collaborate with external partners for further advancement, yet we anticipate that our future colleague will either lead or play a significant role in overseeing such implementations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct data analysis to extract valuable insights, trends, and patterns from extensive datasets.
• Use data analytics languages such as R, Python, and SQL to develop predictive models, among other.
• Create interactive and insightful visualizations for effective communication of data-driven findings.
• Demonstrate expertise in conceptualizing and crafting prototypes that pave the way for practical tech solutions.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in data analytics, proposing and implementing innovative solutions to enhance the performance of our portfolio companies.
• Develop a deep understanding of our portfolio companies' operations to build data-driven solutions that address specific challenges and capitalize on opportunities within each company.

Qualifications:

• Minimum two years full-time work experience as data analyst.
• Proven experience in data analysis with a track record of extracting meaningful insights from large datasets.
• Strong proficiency in ML modeling using R, Python, and SQL.
• Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and develop prototypes (e.g., from data extracting to a final product running in for instance docker).
• Keen interest in staying abreast of the latest advancements in advanced data analysis.
• Excellent business acumen with the ability to understand and address challenges and opportunities within our portfolio companies.
