About the position:

We are currently looking for a Senior Event Project Manager to join our team at HORIZONS Nordics in Copenhagen.

As a Senior Event Project Manager, you will be part of our HORIZONS team in Copenhagen.

Job Description:

To assist with daily tasks that are required to handle MICE groups from conception through to operations and final account reconciliation:

This will involve some or all the following activities:

  • Coordination and servicing of MICE Groups, site inspections and Fam trips.
  • Creating PowerPoint proposals and Excel costings from a given template.
  • Supporting the Mice Team with logistical and administrative support.
  • Contact by email or by phone suppliers to enquire availability, rates, confirm bookings and services, and request invoices.
  • Assist in maintenance of our database (including our price grid, venue decryptions and library).
  • Some overtime evening and weekends may be necessary.
  • The role can include travelling and on-site coordination to oversee the logistical aspects of the event and ensure everything runs smoothly.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree / Higher education qualification / equivalent in Hospitality or related field.
  • Excellent Computer literacy - Proficiency in MS Office especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Previous experience working 5 years in a DMC, events company, PA or similar environment is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English is required for the position.
  • Speaking another European, Chinese or Mandarin language is a plus, as well as understanding the Scandinavian languages.
  • Be clear, concise, and professional in all communications both written and verbal.
  • Full drivers’ licence is an advantage.
  • Ability to carry out various tasks efficiently and to comply with instructions.
  • Ability to work under pressure effectively and still be able to pay attention to details.
  • Team player.
  • Flexibility in day-to-day job demands, remain focused when priorities and practices change.
  • Be resourceful and creative when faced with obstacles.
  • Ability to follow up and see project through to completion and adhere to deadlines.
  • Genuine, approachable, and enthusiastic.
  • Ability to take full ownership for specific task or project.
