Manufacturing Lean Leader

As our new Lean Leader, you will lead the site’s Kaizen funnel, daily management system, coach colleagues and work on improving for a better tomorrow. You will lead and manage projects that positively impact operations. You will be a key staff member of the site operations team, this role exercises a high level of operational judgment, and sets team priorities in alignment with the strategic imperatives of the manufacturing site. As our new Lean Leader your typical tasks will include

  • Provide overall Lean leadership and simplification to specific value streams
  • Responsible for partnering with site leaders to define the key value streams that will have the greatest impact on the business and the customer
  • Teach, train, coach and mentor Lean Manufacturing Leaders in the use of Lean tools and the simplification methodology
  • Improve customer satisfaction and reduce cycle-time on specific site processes
  • Conduct regular value stream reviews with assigned Lean Manufacturing Leaders to assure the team drives significant and measurable business impact
  • Communicate progress, status and issues to the site leaders and global stakeholders
  • Seek, share and institutionalize best practices

Your professional background

You bring a relevant degree as an engineer or MBA with minimum of 5 years’ experience within manufacturing.

You have:

  • Additional leadership experience, preferably in the areas of operations, manufacturing and quality
  • Lean Leader or Black Belt preferred
  • Change agent with strong credibility and influence in the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate others and achieve results
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Motivation, are self-driven, team-player and likes to share knowledge with others
  • Good communications skills in Danish and English
