AFC manager

Daily responsibilities encompass a variety of inspiring and complex tasks overseeing analysis and reporting of economic and financial performance of our Engineering Business Line within Stevanato Group.

You will be reporting to the Controlling Manager (Engineering Line) and will be part of the core management team. Together, you are responsible for supporting and developing the business and employees.

Planning, reporting and leadership.

The AFC manager is accountable for formulating and overseeing the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes within the company. This entails actively analyzing financial performance, identifying key drivers, and offering insights to support strategic decision-making.

Beyond these duties, the AFC manager will be responsible for generating precise and timely financial reports including the POC (percentage of completion), encompassing monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, while ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborating closely with executive leadership, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing financial strategies aligned with our organizational goals.

As a key figure in our finance team, you will be tasked with managing and optimizing cash flow to support daily operations and long-term growth objectives. Your responsibilities extend to implementing efficient cash management policies and procedures to enhance overall efficiency. Identifying financial risks and devising strategies to mitigate them will be a crucial aspect of your role. Staying well-informed of industry trends and regulatory changes impacting on our financial operations is also imperative.

Your leadership skills will be demonstrated as you lead and mentor our finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Conducting regular performance reviews and providing professional development opportunities will be essential for the team's success. Additionally, your role encompasses human resources management, including the recruitment, onboarding, development, and retention of the finance team.

Anticipated qualifications for your profile

You possess a master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus. You hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, with a proven track record of success.

We are in search of an AFC manager with a versatile skill set, emphasizing the importance of flexibility to navigate through dynamic scenarios adeptly. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial modeling, and analysis is crucial.
