Sustainability Project Assistant – Interim basis

WELCON A/S is looking for a Project Assistant within sustainability to join us in the spring of 2024 on an interim basis until end of 2025, with the possibility of permanent employment afterwards.

As a Project Assistant in WELCON, you will report to the Sustainability Manager and provide support to the Sustainability Advisory Board. You will be involved in processes ranging from ESG-reporting and data collection to the execution of our sustainability strategy.

We are seeking a candidate who is studying within the field of sustainability – we know, it’s very broad! Ideally, you are just about to finish your thesis and would like to begin as a student worker, or you are ready to start after your graduation as a Project Assistant. You have a critical and pragmatical mindset to develop the best solutions and are proficient with numbers. You are a self-starter who can prioritize and take responsibility for your own tasks. Additionally, you work well as a part of a team and possess good communication skills. You are not hesitant to reach out to others to align with production, suppliers, and business partners on a daily basis.

    • performing double materiality assessment
    • participating in the annual reporting process
  • Gathering data for Scope 3
  • Contributing to the development of a method for performing LCA-analysis on our products

The position is full time but can begin with 15 hours a week if you have not graduated.

You will work out of our office at Vejlevej 270, 7323 Give, but have a high degree of flexibility for balancing your work-life.
