Marie has a MSc in Chemical Engineering specializing in process and energy, and though she has worked in different positions it has always been within the same area. First as a Wellsite Engineer, and later on different engineering roles in the Drilling department. Now, she is a Well Service Supervisor and loving the dynamic work environment that comes with working offshore.

Before coming here, I was in a good job doing calculations – but it was all static and I couldn’t see the direct result of my work. Then, I saw the job ad about working offshore and was intrigued. So, I applied, got the job, and was instantly hooked. 18 years later and I’m still here.

People sometimes ask me if I don’t miss my daughters when I’m offshore – and of course I do. But I also get to submerge myself totally in my work while I’m away, and then when I’m home, I can give them so much more quality time.
