Laura, Logistics Controller & Aviation Manager

Meet Laura, Logistics Controller & Aviation Manager

“I’ve held several positions within TotalEnergies – first in Paris, France in a back-office position, and as Sales Coordinator for the Africa Middle east division. Now I work as Aviation Manager in Denmark.”

A multitude of career opportunities

Laura has been with TotalEnergies for more than 20 years, the first 15 in Paris, France and the past 6 in Copenhagen, Denmark. One of the reasons for that is that she has had the chance to advance to new roles. As she explains, if you are motivated, curious, and proactive you have every chance to evolve within our organization.

“Our ‘Pioneer Spirit’ value makes our Company very dynamic, so we always get new opportunities to grow.” Laura

Great colleagues are waiting to meet you

Being new can be daunting regardless of whether it is in a new company, a new position or having relocated to a different country. Having changed positions more than once, Laura experienced just that. But in TotalEnergies we endeavour to ensure that our employees always feel welcomed and onboarded in the best way possible.

Laura describes how her new manager in Denmark picked her up from the train station on her first day and gave her a hug in greeting. That heart-warming welcome made her feel instantly at home, just as she was delighted to learn that he himself had been stationed in France and thus understood the many aspects of relocating.

“To me it’s been a good experience. The introduction is thorough, and you get a buddy, someone who had been here longer, who helped you navigate things and settle in. It really made me feel welcome and integrated.” Laura
