PhD scholarship in Assessing Hearing Performance of Teenagers with Hearing Aids and Cochlear Implants using Functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (fNIRS)’ – DTU Health Tech
Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of patients with hearing aids and cochlear implants? Do you possess a blend of signal processing skills and clinical interest in teenagers with hearing devices? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!
This PhD project aims to investigate hearing performance and brain activity during listening tasks, using functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS), which is a non-invasive neuroimaging method that measures changes in blood oxygen levels in the brain. We will focus on patients who are teenagers, as they are considered the new generation of patients with hearing devices.

You’ll be leading People & Planning, supporting our research and audiology areas, having 6 senior researchers as your direct reports. The mission for you will be clear. Your first task will be to get familiar with audiology and research strategy breakdowns & roadmap across R&D and commercial functions.
International Trainer - Technology & Audiology
You will develop training materials and conduct training activities to equip our local wholesale organizations to professionally train hearing care professionals on Oticon, Bernafon and Philips hearing solutions.
You will do this by using your creativity along with your audiological and technological knowledge to create presentations, videos, and e-learning modules that support hearing care professionals to understand our products and be able to counsel their clients on the benefits of these solutions.

Du vil arbejde med hele kunderejsen; fra høreprøver og tilpasning til opfølgning og service. Din rolle indebærer også at sikre opfølgning på alle potentielle kunder, herunder dem genereret via vores kontaktcenter.
Du vil være ansvarlig for at optimere kalenderen med høreprøver og tilpasninger samt sikre fuld opfølgning på aflysninger og opfølgningsopkald. Derudover vil du servicere og rådgive potentielle kunder gennem hele behandlingsforløbet, indtil de køber et høreapparat, samt yde efterfølgende service og rådgivning.
Audiologist på fuldtid eller deltid
Kan du give vores kunder en unik rådgivning, der ender i stor kundetilfredshed? Vil du udfordre dine kompetencer inden for avancerede høreapparatløsninger? Og motiveres du af at arbejde med en bred spændvidde af unikke produkter i en sund virksomhed i kraftig vækst?
Du får ansvar for rådgivning og salg af høreapparater. Du vurderer hørenedsættelsens størrelse og art ved at udføre fuld audiometri af kunder og tilpasse høreapparaterne. Du tager også aftryk af øret, udfører efterkontrol og justeringer, reparationer samt journalnotater. Du arbejder med det nyeste højteknologiske udstyr.
