The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research has been established at the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Copenhagen, to promote basic and applied discovery research on human proteins of medical relevance. The Center comprises a wide range of expertise and resources, from in silico target identification, proteomics, high-throughput protein production and characterization to chemical biology, disease mechanisms and protein therapeutics.

The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Basic Metabolic Research

The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Basic Metabolic Research has been established at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen. The Center consists of five scientific sections and a number of international research alliances. Section on Integrative Physiology headed by Prof. Juleen Zierath is seeking highly motivated students for the following projects:

• Muscle, DNA methylation and exercise
• Mapping the 3D conformation of chromatin in skeletal muscle
• Adaptation of skeletal muscle to metabolic stress induced by exercise
• Involvement of Rab GTPases in skeletal muscle glucose uptake

CMC Biologics A/S

We are seeking a bioprocess development scientist to join the Upstream Development group at CMC Biologics A/S (CMC). The Upstream Development group is responsible for Cell line development, process and technology transfers, process development, for early and late phase projects. Process characterization and commercial launch support. Upstream Development is also responsible for all cell banking activities, design of platform process and evaluation and implementation of new technologies and techniques.
