You will take ownership of the financial reporting and performance management of Arla's continuous improvement programme, Fund our Future, while also supporting important strategic processes across the business. How you will make an impact
Reporting to the Director of Strategic Finance, this is an exciting opportunity to become part of a highly engaged Strategic Finance team of eight colleagues and be part of Arla's wider Performance Management organization. Based in Aarhus, Denmark, you will operate across functions and organizational levels, partnering closely with Finance, Group Strategy and business stakeholders globally. Your key responsibilities will include
- Owning the financial reporting and performance management of Fund our Future, ensuring transparency, high-quality reporting and a strong focus on value delivery
- Safeguarding efficiency principles across the various efficiency streams and supporting target setting, performance follow-up and problem solving where needed
- Supporting Group Strategy in running the annual strategy wheel, including co-driving deliverables, insight generation and decision material for business planning and strategic follow-up towards Executive Management and Board of Directors
- Assessing performance against long-term strategic ambitions and targets, translating data and analysis into actionable recommendations for leadership
What will make you successful
We are looking for a finance professional with strong business acumen and a desire to create impact through financial insights and strategic thinking. We imagine the ideal candidate brings
- 6+ years of experience from relevant finance or strategy functions, such as finance business partnering, performance management, business finance, consulting or corporate strategy
- A relevant university degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to both dive into details and zoom out to understand the bigger picture
- Solid financial understanding combined with the ability to connect financial performance with operational, commercial and strategic drivers
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to condense complexity into precise and compelling executive messaging
- A collaborative mindset and proven ability to build strong relationships across teams and organizational levels
As a person, you are curious, proactive and execution oriented. You enjoy working in a dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders and are comfortable balancing strategic discussions with hands-on analytical work. You are a natural relationship builder who can challenge and support stakeholders while maintaining focus on delivering results.
