Lead growth in one of Arla Denmark’s most strategic growth categories
Milk Based Beverages (MBB) is one of Arla Denmark’s most important and dynamic categories – driven by strong brands, innovation, convenience and new consumption occasions.
We are now looking for a Head of Milk Based Beverages to take the overall strategic and commercial responsibility for the category in the Danish market.
In this key role, you will have a unique opportunity to set the direction, drive growth, and develop both the business and people at the intersection of brand, category, innovation and commercial execution.
The role reports to the Vice President Marketing & Innovation in Arla Denmark, and you will be part of the Danish marketing leadership team.
How you will make an impact
As Head of Milk Based Beverages, you will have the overall responsibility for developing and executing the category and brand strategy for Arla’s milk-based beverage portfolio in Denmark – from long-term vision to short-term market execution.
Together with your small team and in close collaboration with global resources, Sales, Brand Managers, Innovation, Media, Digital and Supply Chain, you will
- Define and drive category vision, strategy and growth plans for Milk Based Beverages in Denmark
- Develop and activate strong brand and portfolio strategies that balance consumer value, customer needs and profitable growth
- Take P&L responsibility and ensure strong performance through assortment, pricing, innovation, promotions and media
- Drive innovation and renovation – from insight and idea to successful launch and scaling
- Set the direction for go-to-market and channel strategies in close partnership with the sales organisation
- Use data and insights (consumer, shopper, category and channel) to make sharp commercial decisions
- Be an active contributor in advancing Arla’s sustainability and nutrition agenda within the category
Leadership & collaboration
You will lead and develop a small team of talented brand professionals while also providing informal leadership across the organisation. Acting as the strong link between Arla’s global Milk Based Beverages organisation and the local execution engine, you will create an environment of high performance, clear direction and strong engagement.
You will

What will make you successful
We imagine you bring a strong commercial and strategic profile combined with solid leadership capabilities and extensive FMCG experience – ideally from the beverage category.
In addition, you
- Hold a Master’s degree in marketing, business or economics
- Bring several years of experience from senior marketing, category or commercial roles in FMCG, ideally within beverages
- Have proven experience in brand building, category management and innovation
- Are strong in P&L management and used to working in a data-driven way
- Thrive in the space between strategy and hands-on execution
- Are a mature leader who creates followership and results through clear communication and trust
- Are fluent in written and spoken English; Danish is an advantage
