D365 FO Functional Consultant with understanding of CE

In Demant we develop and produce high quality hearing aids with the purpose of helping people with hearing loss getting an improved quality of life.

Besides premium products, technology and digitalization are important cornerstones of the existence in our retail business called Hearing Care. We aim to implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO & CE in 20+ countries corresponding to 4.000+ clinics over the next 7-8 years.

Do you want to be part of this huge D365 FO & CE implementation?

If yes, you will join the Hearing Care IT and the “OneHearingCare” Program consisting of 70+ colleagues across the globe.

We are almost a year into the program. Next year is spent on building and completing the template, incl. training materials - so we can onboard the first couple of countries during 2027.

It may sound ambitious, but we have a professional program setup staffed with very experienced and skilled people who have done it before. Of course, challenges will arise along the way, but that is part of the development. Most importantly is that we have the sponsorship all the way to top management.

Your new job is awaiting you

You will be part of the product team “Finance & Operations”, where solutions for several countries are designed, developed and tested.

We are a diverse team of 14, across five countries, aided by several external consultants in Denmark. Some of us have been in Demant for a long time but are still new in this team. We have a good team spirit, good collaboration, and are motivated about the prospect of what we are about to do.

As D365 FO Functional Consultant, you could be working with:

  • Identify business needs together with colleagues from global as well as local business.
  • Design and configure the solution and make sure everything works as expected. Of course there will be needs for development, and here your colleagues in Poland are ready to engage once you have specified the development.
  • Participate in various solution investigations e.g. on how to bring functionality that used to be customized, but now we seek to solve it by standard. Or it could be participating in developing the lean approach for how we quickly can define and configure a new legal entity and bring speed to the activities around migration, for fast onboarding.

You can look forward to 20-40 travel days a year – for at start it will be less, but later it will be to countries like Italy, Spain, Belgium, Poland etc.

The traveling will mostly be together with colleagues. Your team is sociable and likes to explore places and we hope you enjoy this as well. We like having you in the office and co-create with your colleagues, but from time to time you will have possibility to work from home as per agreement with your manager.

Torben meets you at eye level, he prioritizes having time to spare and discussing the issues and ideas you have, he is transparent and a person you would like to work with.

Such a huge IT-transformation and -implementation going on for years will keep you busy and engaged. If you want to pursue other career possibilities later, you can:

  • Become Track Lead or Team Lead in the project.
  • Follow more technical paths like e.g. Solution Architect.
  • Maybe venture into governance by becoming Scrum Master or Project Manager.

It all depends on your skills and career goals – and of course the timing. As you may sense, we would like to keep you in Demant for a long time – it is a culture thing.

Are you the one we are looking for?

  • It is a requirement that you have implemented Dynamics F&O several times - preferably in retail.
  • It will be nice if you have tried it globally as part of a larger organization, but it is not a requirement at all.
  • You understand the processes within finance and to an extent within supply chain. If you also have knowledge of the sales process, it will be easier for you to understand the business operations.
  • You are a skilled communicator bridging IT and the business part of the organization together, where you are proficient in “translating” from one to another.
  • Other people will say that you have your arguments in order in combination with the smoothness and patience of a Change Manager.
  • You are proactive and outreaching both when working in teams and independently.
  • You have experience of working agile. We are working close to the Scaled Agile Framework.
  • You are fluent in English oral and written as this is our corporate language.
  • You can work onsite at our headquarter in Smørum from day one.
