We are looking for a strategic-minded Senior Business Development & Stronghold Unit Manager to join our Supply Chain Global Transformation & Excellence Team (GTE). In this essential role, you will be at the forefront of driving strategic change across our organization. Step into a role where your expertise, vision, and leadership will help shape the future of Arla’s supply chain.
As part of our newly established supply chain structure, we introduced a unified strategy and business development governance model. In addition, you will work alongside Engineering & Technology (E&T) to support investment roadmaps and ensure alignment with Arla’s overall business strategy.
This role is crucial in connecting the global SC Strategy Team and local market teams, ensuring that strategic supply chain initiatives are successfully delivered across categories and markets. Also, you will be a member of the GTE leadership team and a business partner to the leadership team.
Ideally, the position is based in Viby to be close to the leadership team and other stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a proven experience in business development or supply chain management roles, preferably from a global context and combines strong analytical skills with the ability to formulate the SC strategy within the SHU.
Success criteria for succeeding in the role is that you build credibility quickly and create a strong first impression through preparation, structure, and crisp communication, while connecting effortlessly with stakeholders across functions and markets and translating complex supply chain insights into simple, actionable narratives that enable swift, well-founded decision-making.
You combine strong analytical capability with solid financial acumen, allowing you to shape strategy within the Stronghold Units and develop robust business cases – including high-capex investment proposals – that stand up to challenge. You are comfortable influencing senior leaders, balancing a constructive challenge with collaboration, and you navigate matrix setups with ease. Your drive and resilience help you deliver despite obstacles, and your ability to manage multiple agendas and high complexity keeps momentum high from ideation through to sign-off.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a newly established role within our Global Transformation & Excellence team. You will be at the forefront of shaping our supply chain strategy and operating model. Join us to make a tangible impact on our business and work with a team committed to innovation and excellence.
