Smørum and hybrid
In Demant we do not only develop and produce high quality hearing aids, but we also have a large division called Hearing Care, fitting and selling our products to patients. Here our team, including audiologists, are directly helping people with hearing loss, getting the right hearing aids for improving their quality of life. Technology and digitalization are the cornerstones of our existence.
We are streamlining our entire value chain replacing all the various global and local solutions in Hearing Care. More than 100 applications will be replaced during the next 8-10 years.
As part of the plan, we are implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO & CE in more than 20 countries and more than 4.000 clinics. Concurrently we are building a global template to onboard the countries subsequently on. Further we are exchanging Navision to D365 FO in 5 countries as well as the local French finance system.
Your will join the OneHearingCare program from day one and becoming part of 70+ colleagues across the globe, who are building the future solutions for our Hearing Care Business together with you. Your direct team is the Product team we call Finance & Operations, where solutions for a number of countries are designed, developed and tested.
Your close interaction with the whole organization from day one will quickly bring you up to speed with our way of running our business. Our thorough on-boarding plan will ensure you land smoothly in the job.
We expect you will take an outset in D365 FO “standard” and identify the business needs together with colleagues from global as well as local business and subsequently you will design and configure the solution and make sure everything works as expected. Of course there will be needs for development, and here your colleagues in Poland is ready to engage.
You will be working amongst other things with defining and “developing” our future concept and solution for management of reimbursement. Reimbursement is the umbrella term for the mix of private insurance and public subsidies that is prevalent in selling hearing aids across the globe. Reimbursement is involved in most hearing aid sales and is by far the most complex and important part of our solution as each country will have different rules, vendors and practices our solution must cater for.
We are 6 months into the OneHearingCare program and expect to spend the next year to define and build a template company, with training materials – to be ready to onboard the first countries to the One Hearing Care template solution during 2026/2027. Simultaneously we onboard a few markets on the Finance solution to replace current finance systems.
Change management skills, communication skills, and interpersonal skills are important assets for you when promoting and implementing a standardized template system in countries currently having tailored systems and processes and a natural resistance to change.
However, the foundation for a successful business change journey is present the global hearing care management is aligned with, and sponsoring, the standardization and harmonization approach and will help us get support throughout the organization. Your direct manager will have your back in all matters.
Expect around 20-40 travel days a year. For a start it will most likely be to Spain and Poland. A lot of the traveling will be together with your colleagues. The team is social, and we like to explore the places we visit, so everything is not “just work”.
This transformation and implementation will go on for years, but the career possibilities don’t stop there. You can become Track Lead or Team Lead in the project, or you can follow more technical paths like e.g. an Architect or maybe venture into governance by becoming Scrum Master or Project Manager. It all depends on your skills and career goals – and of course the timing. As you may sense, we would like to keep you in Demant for a long time.
We are a diverse team of 14, across 5 countries, aided by a number of external consultants in DK, whom we treat as our colleagues as well. We belong to Hearing Care IT and cover areas of ERP, Change & Comms, Release and Test management.
Some of us have been in Demant for a long time, but we are all still new in this team trying to find our way. We have a good team spirit, good collaboration, and are motivated about the prospect of what we are about to do.
Torben Borre Frederiksen will be your manager. He has been here for 1,5 years but has already contributed significantly to improvements in the department and preparing for the Program. He will be a big help for you to enter this job.
He is the down-to-earth kind of guy. He meets you at eye level. He prioritizes having time to spare and discussing the issues and ideas you have. He is very transparent. Finally, he is a very approachable person you would like to work with.
You have implemented Dynamics F&O several times, preferably in retail - going through all the same steps as in this job offering and clearly understanding the processes within finance - with a broad business mindset. Knowing the sales process will help you enhance your understanding of business operations. It would be nice if you tried it globally as part of a larger organization, but it is not a requirement at all.
You communicate well with both the IT and the business part of the organization and can bridge and translate from one to another.
Other people will say that you have your arguments in order in combination with the smoothness and patience of a Change Manager. Both working in teams and independently you are proactive and outreaching.
We are working agile close to the Scaled Agile Framework with two weeks sprint and Azure DevOps to prioritize and manage our work. You too have some experience working agile.
Becoming part of an international company, you are fluent in English.
If, on top of that, you are also someone others really enjoy working with, we will not be able to contain our excitement.
If you can see yourself being part of such an interesting journey from the very beginning, then make sure you apply for this position – with both CV and application.
Deadline is the 9th of November 2025.
We expect to hold the 1st interview on the 18th and 19th of November, and the 2nd interview on the 25th, 26th and 27th of November.
If you would like to learn more about the job, you are welcome to contact Torben Borre Frederiksen, Director, ERP Solutions at tofb@demant.com.
