Do you thrive on navigating complex customer needs and supply chain challenges? Can you drive the right decisions when balancing supply and demand? If so, we invite you to join the Global Supply Chain Planning team – where your expertise will make a measurable impact.
As part of the Global Supply Chain Planning organisation, you will work alongside a dedicated team of colleagues committed to deliver efficient and cost-effective supply chain planning operations.
Planning in Arla is on an exciting journey, transforming the way we plan across the value chain—with the ambition to strengthen customer centricity and drive operational excellence through an empowered planning community. By joining Supply Chain Planning, you will become part of a global team and collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across Arla.
You will play a pivotal role in supply chain planning across Arla’s production sites in Europe. Your work is crucial in engaging senior management to drive decision making and in leading the Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) process—balancing resources and capacity with demand. You will ensure optimal allocation and utilization of resources and capacity from a global perspective across our Central European sites.
Acting as a strong link between our production sites and commercial teams, your key responsibilities include:
The department is based in Aarhus, with close colleagues also located in Sweden, Germany, Netherland and the UK.
You have an analytical mindset, a structured approach, and you are an excellent communicator who builds strong relationships with multiple stakeholders. You are ambitious, proactive, and able to remain calm under pressure. You bring energy, drive, and passion to your work, and you thrive in a varied workload where some days are very busy and others allow time for deep focus.
With a strong commercial mindset, you’re keen to build effective relationships across both commercial and operations teams at Arla. In addition to strong project management skills and logistics/production/planning knowledge, you hold a degree in Economics or Supply Chain Management (e.g., Cand.Merc. or equivalent).
You are an advanced user of PowerPoint, Excel and BI tools, with a solid understanding of supply chain activities, processes, and systems. As you will depend on a variety of stakeholders, you excel at delivering through others in a matrix organisation. You are also a skilled communicator with strong written and spoken English and experience working in global settings.
This role offers the opportunity to develop your skills both personally and professionally.
We are committed to professional development and promoting from within. Our positive and collaborative culture will bring out the best in you. You will join a market leader that produces nutritious, household-favorite brands in ways that benefit our customers, the farmers who own us, and the world.
Arla Foods has collective agreements, and we always strive to offer good and competitive working conditions. Safety and the working environment are top priorities, which is why we conduct random drug and alcohol tests.
Seize this opportunity to drive innovation and help shape the industry. Please apply as soon as possible, as we review applications and conduct interviews on an ongoing basis. If you have questions, please contact VP Bo Svane at +45 9131 1191.
