As Sales Director for DACH, you will join hummel’s international sales organization – a passionate team of colleagues across Europe who are dedicated to growing one of the world’s most iconic sports brands.

This is not a market-entry role – it is an opportunity to further develop and scale hummel’s already established presence in the DACH region. You will play a key role in strengthening our market position, deepening partnerships, and ensuring sustainable long-term growth across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

More About the Role and Your Responsibilities

As Sales Director, you’ll be responsible for driving our sales strategy in the DACH region – one of hummel’s strongest and most strategically important markets.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement the regional sales strategy with a focus on growth and market share within sports and teamwear
  • Strengthen and expand key account relationships across retail, clubs, and industry partners
  • Negotiate and secure commercial agreements with a focus on long-term partnerships
  • Drive brand presence in collaboration with marketing and product teams
  • Optimize existing business structures and processes to support scalability
  • Analyze market trends and competitors to ensure competitive positioning
  • Report to the Group Sales Director and collaborate closely with international teams and HQ in Aarhus, Denmark

How to Make the Team

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven leader who combines commercial acumen with a passion for sport and brand building.

To succeed in the role, we expect that you:

  • Bring solid experience in B2B sales and key account management, preferably within the sports industry
  • Have a proven track record of growing and developing mature markets
  • Possess strong negotiation skills and the ability to create long-lasting relationships
  • Combine a strategic mindset with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach
  • Communicate fluently in English and German
  • Have a natural passion for sport
