The position

Your main responsibilities as our new Investor Relations Analyst will be to develop and prepare a variety of analyses for our ongoing communication with investors and financial analysts, who cover the Demant stock. This includes material for our financial reporting, investor roadshows and various management presentations. In this role, you will be on a steep learning curve, and your responsibilities will cover a range of tasks including peer group analysis, benchmarking, consensus modelling as well as our financial reporting.

In addition, you are expected to build your understanding of the commercial market dynamics, competitive environment, and strategic direction of the company and to enhance our Investor Relations activities as you advance within the position.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in finance, business or similar
  • 2-3 years of work experience, possibly within Investor Relations or equity research
  • Solid understanding of and interest in financial markets
  • Full professional proficiency in English, with Danish language skills being an additional qualification
  • Detail oriented, analytical with a proactive mindset
  • Good interpersonal and communicative skills
  • High work-ethic and comfortable working in an environment with relatively fixed peak periods around our regular financial reporting; but which also carries a high degree of flexibility and freedom to plan own work.

We believe you are motivated by using your analytical skills and possess keen attention to details. Combined with a curious mind, this enables you to analyse data effectively and to ensure deliverables of very high quality to our various stakeholders. You will join a small and highly specialized team, and you will report to the Head of Investor Relations, who works directly under the Chief Financial Officer. Furthermore, you will be working out of the Demant HQ located in Smørum close to Copenhagen.

For the right candidate, this role will offer a high degree of responsibility and involvement in an active environment with constant news flow. Given the close collaboration with senior management and other key decision makers in the Group, the role carries high visibility and is a great opportunity to build a career in a large and diverse international company. As you develop in the team, the role is also expected to increasingly contribute to the external communication with investors and analysts on the development of Demant’s equity story.

Please note that the role includes some travel activities (approx. 5-10 days per year) mostly in relation to international road shows and conferences.
