We are looking for a Senior Product Owner to join our Connectivity & Embedded Software department. About the role

In this role, you will lead two agile Scrum teams (around 22 specialists) focused on Bluetooth stack development for hearing instruments. Your leadership will enhance connectivity solutions in hearing technology, ensuring our solutions are accessible, reliable, and impactful for people around the world. You’ll play a key role in structuring work for clarity, managing stakeholders, and ensuring clear communication across the organization. This is a servant leader role within a Scaled Agile framework, ideal for someone who enjos enabling teams to succeed.

Key responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for setting clear goals, facilitating technical decisions, and ensuring transparent communication across teams and stakeholders. As a servant leader, you’ll create a culture of trust and psychological safety, where team members are empowered to contribute their best work. Your ability to build strong relationships with architects, subject matter experts, and cross-functional partners will enable effective collaboration.

  1. Define and communicate clear goals and milestones for the team and stakeholders.
  2. Facilitate technical decision-making by clarifying impact and criticality.
  3. Act as the primary point of contact for team deliveries and stakeholder coordination.
  4. Ensure transparency of team activities and progress to the broader organization.
  5. Support leadership in communicating team progress and priorities.
  6. Help the team manage tasks and understand broader implications of decisions and delays.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone with a solid background in embedded software and experience as a Product Owner in an R&D setting. Familiarity with agile methodologies, especially Scaled Agile is essential. Experience with Bluetooth stack development and tools like C/C++ or Zephyr is a plus, but what matters most is your curiosity, openness, and commitment to continuous learning and team growth. The following qualifications are seen as mandatory for the preferred candidate.

  1. Technical background with experience as a Product Owner in an R&D setting.
  2. Solid understanding of embedded software development.
  3. Familiarity with agile methodologies, especially Scaled Agile.
