Are you passionate about creating a safe, inclusive, and high-performing work environment? Do you thrive in a complex, fast-paced production setting where your leadership directly influences global food quality? This is one of the most prominent roles in the Maintenance & Engineering field—a rare and unique opportunity.
Join us at Rødkærsbro Dairy as our new Senior Maintenance & Engineering Manager, and help shape the future of food production.
At Rødkærsbro dairy, we produce 78,000 tons of Mozzarella cheese and Pizza Topping annually—products enjoyed by people around the world. Our customers are global leaders, and our standards for safety, quality and innovation are just as ambitious.
As part of the site leadership team and reporting directly to the Senior Site Director, it would be your overall responsibility to lead a department of 45 highly skilled professionals, including team leaders, project managers, IT specialists, and engineers. Together, you will ensure the reliability and continuous development of our advanced production systems.
Your leadership will center on fostering a culture of safety, wellbeing, and inclusion, while driving high performance and reliability in our production processes. You will take the lead on CAPEX projects and strategic maintenance planning, working closely with colleagues across functions to shape the future of our site. You will be responsible for managing budgets and ensure cost-effective execution of projects and maintenance activities. Furthermore your functional competences will be key to your success—leveraging deep technical knowledge in maintenance and engineering, strong project management skills, and a solid understanding of automation and digitalization.
You will apply Lean methodologies and reliability-centered maintenance principles to optimize performance and reduce downtime. Your ability to translate strategic goals into operational excellence will make you a vital contributor to the site’s long-term success. This is a role where your voice matters—you will be a key contributor to the site’s strategic direction, helping to set new standards and deliver on ambitious goals in close alignment with Arla’s global Supply Chain leadership.
We imagine that you come with a degree in Operations, Maintenance Engineering, Technology Management and Marine Engineering or a related field. A key success criterion for the role is proven leadership experience combined with strong leadership capabilities. This means that you have successfully led large teams and complex projects, and you are known for your ability to inspire, communicate clearly, and deliver results. Safety is at the heart of your leadership approach—you consistently prioritize creating a secure and healthy work environment where people can thrive.
You are a strong advocate for Lean principles and continuous improvement, always seeking smarter, more sustainable ways to work. You build trust-based relationships across all levels of the organization and are deeply committed to people development, diversity, and inclusion. With a global mindset and a collaborative spirit, you navigate complex challenges with confidence.
At Rødkærsbro Dairy, you will find more than just a job—you will find a purpose. You will become part of a dynamic and supportive leadership culture that values collaboration and innovation. We offer excellent opportunities for both personal and professional growth in an environment where diverse perspectives are genuinely appreciated. Most importantly, you will have the chance to make a real difference in a global company that’s committed to safety, quality, sustainability, and continuous improvements.
