Senior Solution Architect for Marketing & Innovation

Are you a visionary architect who excels at designing solutions that drive innovation and efficiency? We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to join our Marketing and Innovation (M&I) Agile Release Train, with a dedicated focus on our internal marketing agency, The Barn.

“In this key role, you will be instrumental in crafting and maintaining solution architectures that address the dynamic needs of our marketing business, while ensuring alignment with current standards and guidelines.

As a Senior Solution Architect, you will join the Marketing & Innovation (M&I) Agile Release Train (ART) within Arla IT—a dynamic organization of over 500 colleagues across Denmark, Germany, Poland, and the UK. The M&I ART is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge IT and digital solutions to support Arla’s marketing and innovation departments. In this role, you will work with a particular focus on supporting our in-house creative agency, The Barn.

How you will make an impact

In this role, you will ensure our solutions are designed and built to the highest standards. You will understand diverse business needs, provide strong solution insights, and set the technical direction. You will introduce innovative approaches, align with target architectures, and oversee activities to keep technologies and platforms up to date. The role combines larger initiatives and smaller ad-hoc tasks, with a key interface to our internal agency, The Barn, and the M&I ART, requiring regular coordination with business and IT stakeholders.

More specifically, you will:

• Create and maintain solution designs to ensure solutions are built according to current standards and guidelines
• Hold architecture responsibility within your area, including maintaining IT landscape, target architecture, roadmaps, and security
• Understand diverse business needs and demonstrate strong solution insight
• Set the technical direction and communicate effectively with business and IT stakeholders
• Break down and estimate complex tasks enabling effective collaboration within agile teams

The position is based in Viby, Aarhus.

To succeed in this role, we imagine you have:

• A solid proven technical background as an Solution Architect, ideally with experience in marketing-related domains or projects
• Proven experience in creating and maintaining solution designs
• Strong capability in describing, drawing, and presenting architectural discussions
• Deep understanding of solution development and integration
• Experience with Microservice Architecture, Azure, CMS platforms, and Media Storage solutions
• English language skills on a business level is a requirement
