Set the team up for success

The developers in the teams are responsible for the embedded software platform and tooling for all Demant hearing instruments. The developers are part of a SAFe Agile release train (ART), organized in self-governing scrum teams with product owners, who manage the team backlog, and scrum master/team coaches who facilitate the team progress towards the goal.

As Senior Manager you are expected to excel as line manager, securing that the teams are set up for success in the SAFe set-up; and to be a change agent for the general transformation. Your main responsibilities are:

  • Develop highly skilled individuals providing mentorship, coaching, feedback and guidance to ensure their professional growth
  • Constantly improve methods and quality in your competence area with inspiration from external best practices
  • Recruit and retain talented individuals with strong focus on their personality fit to build strong and diverse teams. Initially, there will be significant recruitment focus as we are in a build-up phase for a new initiative
  • Work with other leadership positions to remove obstacles for the teams and help the development flow to be as efficient as possible
  • Facilitate the adoption of agile practices within the team, ensuring adherence to the SAFe principles and methodologies

The job offers a variety of tasks and gives you the possibility to further develop your skills within management and influence the organization. We are looking forward to your new perspectives, insights, and ideas.

You will be part of a dynamic environment built on trust and openness, where you will find a strong will to win. We are a growing international company, where everyone strives to ensure that customers find our products the most attractive on the market. You will become part of a positive and open work environment where flexible working conditions, knowledge-sharing and professional respect make it both challenging and meaningful to go to work.

Experienced leader within R&D

You will have domain knowledge for the teams you will lead, and you have documented experience with managing and developing highly skilled and specialized teams in a large-scale R&D setting.

You have great people management skills and are an inspiring communicator. You are excited about developing people, teams, and the context they are in, focusing on empowering teams and the individual.

As we are searching for a leader for a team working in a SAFe environment, it is important that your personal toolbox and motivation is matching the servant leader setup in SAFe.
