Do you have a passion for enterprise and systems architecture and thrive with leading architectural initiatives, negotiating the right interfaces and securing that our architecture supports new business and technology possibilities? Then this might be the perfect job for you!
Operating in an agile SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) setup, you will take a leading role in our work with Portfolio Layer Epics and collaboration with various roles in ARTs (Agile Release Trains). Along with the the Enterprise Architect team, you are accountable for systems architecture and systems design used for building hearing system products.
The Enterprise architect group is a part of R&D Excellence and Technology. Our overall goal is to ensure that technology and architectural decisions support the business strategy. This is done through close collaboration with all parts of R&D, but also through interaction with stakeholders in Portfolio Management, Global IT and Operations.
We are 10 R&D enterprise architects in our group, with backgrounds in both hardware and software. We are very different, but one thing that ties us together is a deep commitment to our products. We know that every little thing we can do better each day, improves the quality of life for our users.
One thing I know our colleagues really value is that the full product development cycle takes place in-house. If you have a question, it’s easy to get answers - just take a few steps and talk directly to the person involved.
As a System Architect, you will be responsible for conducting technical analyses and defining the key architectural enablers required to explore new market opportunities and adopt emerging technologies. You will collaborate closely with fellow architects specializing in hardware and software, as well as with a wide range of stakeholders, providing guidance on enhancing reusability, performance, and technical feasibility.
You should have passion for new technologies and thrive in a role that combines strategic thinking with hands-on architectural work. If you do that, this is just the right position for you.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
You have a degree in engineering or computer science – and in your work life you have picked up a broad technical knowledge within hardware or software product development, that enables you to work across multiple disciplines. You may already have some years of experience working as an architect.
You also have experience as a manager, either as a line manager, project manager or as a leader in a SAFe framework.
Where you have your leadership skills from is not important. What is more important is that you know how to lead tech people, show them direction, find solutions and inspire.
You have modelling experience and are comfortable decomposing complex systems and negotiating the right interfaces and structures for optimal implementation.
Because we are transitioning into working in the SAFe framework and will be fully implemented in 2025, experience with agile development is a parameter we will look for in your experience.
You have good leadership skills and are good at creating followership interacting with many stakeholders and know that making architecture is very much about communication and involvement of the right people.
