Right now, we are searching for a new VP, Commercial Program Management to lead our Hearing Aid Commercial program s. (A program is a number of interlinked projects)

You will be reporting to the Leader of our Program Management Function and be part of a leadership team with 6 other senior leaders. Here, you will have the opportunity to shape and define the Program strategies and priorities.

  1. The commercial program manager facilities the identification and understanding of the commercial challenges
  2. The commercial program manager identifies the changes in the organization that are needed to solve the commercial challenges.
  3. The commercial program manager enables decision making in the relevant fora by providing a holistic overview of the options to solve the challenge.
  4. The commercial program manager facilitates the deployment of the selected solution, to solve the challenge and sustain it in the organization.

You will have the authority to approve projects according to the HIG Governance and Policy deployment process (IP), within your own budget.

To sum up, your key responsibilities include:

Responsibilities

  1. Accountable for leading commercial improvement programs, ensuring that the improvements are in accordance with our strategy and meet all the relevant business criteria’s outside-in.
  2. By understanding the commercial challenges and business dynamics, define “Breakthrough”, target to improve (TTI) and identify the program organization and skills needed to make the “Breakthrough” happen.
  3. Ensure breakdown of the plan, incl. Key milestones (See, Solve, Sustain).
  4. Regularly review with key commercial stakeholders , the Breakthrough, TTI & team composition matches the commercial stakeholders needs and is aligned with an outside-in view.
  5. Lead and manage the track team-leads, ensuring progress on the sub-tracks, remove impediments and support the team in reaching the targets.
  6. Provide transparency on the IP status (scope, timing, constraints, quality, risks and TTI) and raise issues with recommendations to stakeholders & customers for effective decision making if needed. Report progress to the relevant fora.
  7. Ensure that an appropriate deployment plan (Sustain) is in place, E.g., identify key line management activities and support the line management and customers in sustaining the learnings.
  8. Act as a liaison with Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) to help balancing the portfolio and guardrails.
  9. Communicate results to the organization once the improvement is deployed and the business criteria are met.
  10. Continuously help identifying needed improvements in the commercial area.
  11. Serve as a point of contact for issues or guidance related to commercial improvements.

  1. Proficient business acumen and the ability to understand commercial challenges.
  2. Proficient leadership and facilitation skills, embodying servant leadership principles
  3. A deep ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
  4. Proficiency in project management, finance management, risk management, stakeholder management, change management, and communication.
  5. SAFe certified – Leading SAFe & Lean Portfolio Management & GMS trained.

To thrive in this role

We are looking for a candidate who has several years of high level -project-management experience, and has made a career within project management from the commercial area. You should have a relevant educational background, e.g. master’s degree combined with experience from a similar position.

As a person, you are motivated by solving commercial challenges and you are highly interested in interacting with commercial teams to understand their needs and identify the needed changes in the organization. You can initiate your own tasks and projects and you are always one step ahead in your planning. On top of that, you deliver high-quality work. You maintain an optimistic outlook, allowing you to effectively manage several priorities simultaneously. Moreover, you adjust well to shifting demands and you are organized and structured. Finally, we value team spirit and expect you to try to ensure that execution is done seamlessly.
