We are looking for a Project Manager/Product Owner in our Audiological Solutions department. You will work with teams of experts in audiological digital signal processing to develop and mature new ideas and concepts for features in Hearing Instrument products.

The Role

You will be Project Manager/Product Owner for a Scrum team consisting of around 5 experts in the field of audiological digital signal processing. The team focuses on advanced digital audiological algorithms. You will help them navigate the complexity of being frontiers by supporting the team to structure their work for maximum impact and efficiency by helping them establish clear goals and milestones. The team has many technical stakeholders in different parts of the organization. You will help the team with stakeholder management and in structuring the communication flow to and from the team to optimize for clarity and efficiency. We work with Scaled Agile so this role should be seen as a servant leader role.

Your Main Responsibilities

Joining us you can look forward to the following primary tasks:

  • Create clarity in goals and milestones for the team and stakeholders
  • Facilitate stakeholders and the team to take technical decisions by helping them to understand the impact and criticality of such decisions
  • Be accountable for the decisions taken by the team
  • Be the key point of contact towards the team in terms of deliveries and stakeholder management
  • Support the team at an appropriate level, provide an environment for maximum focus and innovation
  • Build effective relationships with key technical stakeholders including architects and lead developers across the organization to understand the implications of technical decisions
  • Create a clear understanding of the work the team is doing for the broader organization
  • Support managerial positions in communicating progress of the team
  • Walk the balance between structure and progress and an environment where creative and skilled engineers can investigate innovative solutions and develop these solutions as efficiently as possible
  • Help the team to prioritize their work and understand broader implications of decisions, delays etc.
  • Help the team to remove impediments and get answers to questions which may slow down their progress

Could we be a match?

You should have a technical background and experience in project management for technical research and development. In this position experience in Machine Learning and Embedded Software is important. You have an interest in technical skills and in learning about the product development process from early innovation to product implementation.

You will be working with some of the top experts in the industry. You enjoy working with people and creating an environment where people thrive.

Finally, you most likely have several years of experience with technical project management.

On the personal side you are a good communicator, are open and approachable while being curious about people and technical product development processes.
