Ikon: Pil

Kickstart your career in contract management by contributing to one of Denmark’s largest infrastructure programs – where your work helps shape the future of sustainable train travel.

You now have a unique opportunity to become part of a diverse environment where flexibility, lifelong learning and work-life balance are at the center.

This isn’t your average student job. You’ll work on real infrastructure projects that shape train travel in Denmark – and see the results of your work. It’s engaging, meaningful, and never boring

says Kateryna, your future colleague

Do you want to come on board?

You will join the “Legal & Commercial Contract Management” department, working alongside 25 colleagues with diverse backgrounds. Our team oversees legal and contract management across DSB’s major infrastructure projects, focusing on coordinating, monitoring, and optimizing contract follow-up.

You will support some of Denmark’s largest and most complex projects while gaining experience in contract management and contributing to DSB’s green transition.

About the job

We imagine that you work approx. 15-20 hours a week. We will schedule your working hours considering your exam periods and other commitments.

We offer you a train pass for DSB, so you can get to work for free. You can also use your train pass in your spare time.

Your workday will be varied, giving you experience with contract processes, commercial considerations, and project coordination.

You’ll contribute through both administrative and commercial tasks, supporting the team in implementing strategies to improve efficiency and ensure compliance with key project agreements.

Typical tasks include

  • Maintaining and updating our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system.
  • Preparing clear and engaging PowerPoint presentations.
  • Cleaning, structuring, and reorganizing data in Excel for better usability.
  • Reviewing project documentation to identify, extract, and organize key information.
  • Collaborating across departments to support smooth workflows.
  • Taking on ad hoc tasks to support ongoing project activities.

We aim to match your responsibilities with your professional interests, so you can grow your skills and get the most out of your time with us.

Who are you?

Your professional qualifications

  • Organizational skills; able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable supporting routine assignments to ensure smooth team operations.
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint and Salesforce – or a keen willingness to learn.
  • Good level of Excel; experience with data structuring and analysis.

We’re looking for someone who addresses tasks, meets deadlines reliably, and knows when to seek input to improve results. You bring a professional mindset, support your teammates when needed, and collaborate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.

Even if your profile doesn’t match every single point, we still encourage you to apply – your motivation and willingness to learn matter just as much.

What can you expect from DSB?

All our students, interns, and recent graduates are invited to join our Young Professionals' Network – an internal network, managed by the members and supported by HR.

This is where you meet for socializing, business inputs, and professional discussions.

You can look forward to

  • Developing your talents and skills.
  • Flexible working hours and the option to work from home.
  • Free transportation with DSB.
  • Training in DSB's gym and PureGym.
