About the job

You will join a team of 3 colleagues in our Investment Office, which is part of the Arla Group Finance organization. We are overall responsible for our CapEx and IT investment application and approval process, consolidating between all our global production sites and senior management and support strategic investment prioritisation.

Here, you will oversee the group-wide investment application process on a day-to-day basis including developing insightful presentation material for top management and ensure alignment with current policies and guidelines. This covers ongoing maintenance investments, extensive strategic investments and everything in between.

More specifically, you will:

  • Manage day-to-day tasks and plan and execute meetings to facilitate our monthly investment process
  • Consolidate application material and convert it into decision-making presentation material for top management
  • Support our applicants – e.g. dairy operators and managers – during the application process, ensuring policy and guideline alignment
  • Perform ongoing investment analysis and create transparency of potential investments
  • Conduct financial analysis related to the CapEx and IT investment portfolio or stand-alone investments
  • Perform ad-hoc modelling and valuation tasks for the broader Arla Group Finance community

Further, you will be playing a role in the broader Performance Management organization overseeing tasks within our Finance Excellence & Projects team overall responsible for driving cross functional priorities and projects. More specifically, you will:

  • Run and co-develop our internal learning concept for Finance colleagues, the Finance Academy, including planning and running SteerCo meetings, supporting development of learning courses and managing our Finance Academy SharePoint site
  • Administrative support on prioritised cross functional projects in the Finance, Legal, IT & Strategy organisation, e.g. current project running on our Finance IT and data landscape
  • Ad hoc tasks in Finance Excellence & Projects

The workplace will be at the headquarter in Viby close to Aarhus.

Who are you?

The ideal candidate enjoy engaging with various stakeholders, ranging from dairy operators to senior management. You are curious and feel comfortable asking questions as well as possess an open mindset towards working with a variety of tasks on a day-to-day basis. Further, you manage our internal investment processes in a structured and analytical way ensuring alignment with key stakeholders. Thus, you thrive on making yourself acquainted with the multifaceted organisation that is Arla.

For the project management responsibilities, your coordination and planning skills will be essential for leading meetings, developing training courses, and managing our SharePoint site. Here, you will succeed by means of a close collaboration with stakeholders as well as strong communication skills. Besides, you:

  • Might have a few years’ experience from a similar position – and if you are a recent graduate, we welcome your application as well
  • Have affinity with numbers and hold a master’s degree in finance, business, dairy engineering or the like
  • Are native in Excel and PowerPoint as well as related tools – any knowledge of SAP is a plus
  • Bring fluency in written and spoken English
