Your insights and recommendations will have a strategic impact and guarantee that we translate shopper and customer insights to drive growth and create a better business for us and our customers.

How you will make an impact

In Viby, Aarhus, you will join the Commercial Excellence Team in Arla Denmark and report to the Head of Commercial Excellence. The core of our work is to use multiple streams of data to generate recommendations and commercial opportunities based on market, shopper, consumer, and customer insights. Your responsibility will be to provide insights and recommendations that strategically drive growth and commercial opportunities within e.g., business case development, NPD rationale, improving existing product range, to name a few. You will also partner directly with the customer to help them improve their sales performance. Furthermore, you will be responsible for supporting or driving strategic projects and processes, e.g., Business Planning.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Deliver clear conclusions and recommendations to colleagues and customers, using diverse data sources and market trend monitoring
  • Proactively challenge existing thinking and drive continuous improvement in processes, tools, and research activities
  • Support strategy development and execution for assortment, space, price, and promotion to grow category and branded sales
  • Present insights and recommendations to the customer, inspiring strategic thinking
  • Contribute to joint category plans and identify opportunities for continuous improvement for the customer and Arla

You approach challenges with curiosity and a business development mindset, always seeking innovative ways to create value and improve processes. Your strong communication skills make it easy for you to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, and you are known for your structured approach and attention to detail. With a natural flair for numbers and data, you combine analytical thinking with pragmatism, ensuring insights are actionable and impactful.

Besides this, we imagine that you:

  • Have a Master’s degree in business, economics, or a related field
  • Bring 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably from the FMCG or Foodservice industry or as a consultant working with market insights within sales and marketing
  • Are able to translate data and insights into commercial recommendations and actions
  • Have a broad understanding of the Danish consumer market and a keen interest in consumer behavior
  • Are fluent in both English and Danish, written and spoken
  • Are proficient in PowerPoint and Excel, and preferably have experience with PowerBI
