We are looking for a passionate, data-savvy, and impact-driven Supply Chain Sustainability Manager to lead our Scope 3 agenda (emissions from our suppliers) and take our global value chain to the next level of environmental performance. You will be part of the global Supply Chain Sustainability team, which is a team of twelve people currently located across Denmark, UK and Sweden. The team is responsible for the global Supply Chain Sustainability strategy and program management. Our primary responsibility is to secure the Sustainability goals are achieved across Supply Chain globally by integrating and anchoring the strategy into our production- and logistics sites and processes, but also the overall company culture and DNA.
The global Supply Chain Sustainability team is mainly responsible for initiatives related to Energy, Carbon, Food waste and Water, with potential expansion into other nature areas in the future. At Arla foods, we are on a mission to make Sustainability not just a goal, but a core part of how we operate – from raw material to final product and disposal.
You will be the Supply Chain Scope 3 Program Lead which means being responsible for reducing emission from our suppliers. Your responsibility will be to finalize the strategy incl. target setting, standards, governance, reporting, KPIs, etc. to prepare for execution of the strategy from 2026 and beyond.
Working with a variety of stakeholders across the organization, it is essential that you ensure coordination and assess the impact of the initiatives. Furthermore, it is important that you become a trusted sparring partner, build relationships and foster engagement and motivation on different levels of the supply chain organization and with global and local sustainability teams.
You come with a Masters degree in Supply Chain, Business administration, Science or Engineering, or similar. You have a solid knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain and Sustainability, ideally within a global FMCG environment and preferable have minimum 5 years of work experience for example as project or program leader, sustainability professional or business development manager.
You are an experienced, ambitious and passionate project or program manager driven by results and like to take lead on an area with high complexity and high visibility in the organization. You have both a strategic and an analytical mindset with some experience in data modeling. Also, strong stakeholder management skills are crucial to become successful, which enables you to lead projects independently and get all stakeholders onboard in an engaging and collaborative way, while ensuring focus remains on the goal.
Working in a new area that plays a key part in our strategy, you should possess a change-ready mindset and excellent communication skills (in English) to effectively engage with stakeholders and convey technical topics into understandable business context. Furthermore, you have big curiosity on external environmental and passion for Sustainability which enables you to constantly monitor new trends that can prepare Supply Chain for the next step on the Sustainability journey.
