We are now looking for a Supply Chain Strategy Manager who will be supporting the implementation of Arla’s global supply chain network strategy, as a direct report to the Supply Chain Strategy & Business Development Director.
This position offers you an excellent opportunity to work with strategy and business development directly with the Global Supply Chain Leadership Team and other senior leaders across the organisation. Your primary role will be to support the agenda set out by Arla’s global Supply Chain Strategy Director across the following tasks:
You will report directly to the Supply Chain Strategy & Business Development Director and be part of the SC Strategy & BD team which is based in our Strategy and Business Development department. The SC Strategy & BD team is a newly established team with significant opportunities to truly impact our business as we are working on the most critical strategic projects across the full value chain. We have a strong focus on each colleague’s skills and career development journey, and this role will give you a great foundation for your continuous career at Arla.
We are looking for someone who ideally has consultancy or business development experience combined with a solid educational background probably within finance, business or supply chain. In order to be successful in this role, it is an advantage to have experience from parts of the strategy & BD consulting toolbox (e.g. business case development, structured problem solving, defining strategic options, structured communication, project and program management skills). Experience or passion for supply chain would be an added bonus. Furthermore, strong commands of PowerPoint and Excel and fluency in English are key prerequisites for delivering in this role.
As Supply Chain Strategy Manager, you will need to be self-driven and thrive in working in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment. Your level of drive lies above average, and your problem solving skills enable you to challenge the status quo. At the same time, you get your energy from engaging with your team and stakeholders throughout the organization. As a team player, you are ready to collaborate across functions and levels of seniority.
