Global Quality Specialist (Maternity Cover)

How you will make an impact

As our new Global Quality Specialist (Maternity Cover), you will become an integral part of the Business Quality Management (BQM) team of seven at Arla Foods Ingredients (AFI). Acting as a vital bridge between supply chain operations and the quality department at our Global Headquarters, you’ll ensure alignment and support for ongoing success. You’ll have the opportunity to solve food safety and quality challenges, maintain high standards, and drive strategic quality projects across our business.

• Quality and Food Safety Leadership: Guide site quality teams and create innovative solutions to food safety and quality challenges.
• RCA/CAPA Consultation: Offer expertise in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes.
• Process Implementation: Help implement global processes and systems for Quality Management and Food Safety.

In addition, you will lead strategic quality projects in areas with resource or competency gaps, and build strong relationships with stakeholders to foster continuous improvement through feedback. This role requires a flexible approach and the ability to work from one of our production sites approximately one day each week. It is a temporary position ending September 30th, 2027.

What will make you successful

We are looking for a candidate who brings:

• A master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Food Science, Quality Management, Dairy Engineering)
• 2-3 years of experience from a production environment within quality, food safety, or food production.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

In addition, you are self-motivated and able to informally lead teams. You demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills and have a genuine passion for product quality, food safety, and sustainability. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required for this role.
