We are looking for a skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in managing our release and deployment processes. You will directly impact our deployment strategies and pro-cesses, being responsible for maintaining and further developing them.

As a Cloud DevOps Engineer focused on release and deployment processes, you will work with complex tasks and a variety of projects. You will assess and understand diverse technical needs, while demon-strating strong analytical skills and solution insight. You will be responsible for executing deployments, troubleshooting issues, and interacting with stakeholders across the organization in a professional man-ner. You will work closely with DevOps Engineers, Solution Architects and Engineers, and business Sub-ject Matter Experts.

As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, your primary focus will be to manage the release and deployment pro-cesses in Azure and Salesforce. Your main goal will be to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently, with minimal downtime.

What will make you successful

Typical Tasks:

· Planning and Deployment:

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the entire release cycle, including the integration of new features and patches.
Ensure that release plans are aligned with both development and business needs.

· Process Development and Best Practices:

Develop and maintain guidelines for branching strategy and deployment processes.
Implement and further develop CI/CD pipelines to support a continuous deployment culture.

· Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

Monitor live environments, identify issues, and implement solutions quickly to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with testers and operations stakeholders to ensure robust and reliable delivery.

· Documentation and Reporting:

Prepare comprehensive documentation, including change logs, risk assessments, and feedback to development teams.
Ensure that all processes and changes are documented according to applicable standards.

· Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Facilitate close collaboration between development, QA, operations, and business teams to ensure high quality and stability in deployments.
Act as a focal point for communication between different teams and ensure that technical solutions match business needs.

Professionally, it is expected that you have experience in cloud engineering and deployment processes. You should be able to independently manage deployments, provide solution options, and make recommendations. You should also be able to connect business experts and software engineers by translating technical needs into actionable deployment plans, and by supporting the deployment process through troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

Minimum Requirements:

Solid experience with version control (Git), including advanced branching strategies and merge processes.
Solid experience with automated deployments, configuration, and troubleshooting in deployment processes.
In-depth knowledge of CI/CD practices, automation, and infrastructure as code.
Understanding of the Salesforce and Azure development environment and associated processes.
Experience with implementing and managing solutions in Azure DevOps or something similar, as well as knowledge of cloud architecture and security.
Additional experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, or Python) is an advantage.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as a Code (IaC) tools – Terraform or something similar
Preferred experience and technical expertise - Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert or similar certifications
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex deployment issues and derive actionable solutions.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement.
Project Management: Experience in managing deployment-focused projects.
