Finance Analyst - Strategic Finance at Arla Foods

You will join our Strategic Finance team to collaborate closely with colleagues in the team, on financial reporting and analytics. From here, you will engage with stakeholders across the global finance organization.

How you will make an impact

As a Finance Analyst, you will report to the Director, Strategic Finance and work with stakeholders within the team and across the global finance organization. You will be responsible for financial reporting, selected analytics, and target governance of our SG&A costs as well as the “Fund our Future” Program (Cost Efficiency Program).

• Monthly financial reporting of our “Fund our Future” program and support on reporting of the SG&A cost development.
• Governing our dynamic target model for SG&A costs, handling target change requests from across the organization.
• Assisting colleagues with analytics, insight generation, and presentations within SG&A costs and cost efficiencies.
• Undertaking various ad-hoc tasks, including business impact analysis and participation in business performance reporting to senior leadership.

What will make you successful

We are looking for candidates who are about to graduate with a master's degree in finance, economics, or a similar field, ready for their first full-time position. You should be a fast learner with a sound curiosity, prepared to apply your strong analytical skills to convert numbers into insights within a business context. Strong collaborative and communicative skills are essential, as stakeholders will vary across the organization.

• Motivated to deliver timely and thorough work on both reporting tasks and ad-hoc analytics, approaching assignments with a can-do attitude.
• A strong team player who prioritizes team goals and can build trusting relationships with colleagues.
• Excellent proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP BW and PowerBI is an advantage, along with the ability to communicate effortlessly in English, both written and orally.
