Senior Product Manager - Corporate Tax Innovation

Frederiksberg, Hybrid position

At EY, we’re all in to shape your future with confidence.

We’ll help you succeed in a globally connected powerhouse of diverse teams and take your career wherever you want it to go.

Join EY and help to build a better working world.

At EY Tech.Collective, you'll be building tax and law software products that shift our business from manual labour to AI-powered automation. We're not just making incremental improvements – we're fundamentally reimagining how tax services work.

We operate across the Nordics with a collaborative team of engineers, designers, researchers, and product managers. We embrace a distributed setup where we work from both home and offices, depending on what makes sense for the task at hand.

About the role:

As the Senior Product Manager leading our Corporate Tax initiative, you'll navigate a multinational stakeholder landscape while driving ambitious innovation. You'll be the link between deep technical capabilities and business expertise, bringing a software-first mindset to an industry ready for disruption.

Tax? Yes, it's not the flashiest domain at first glance—but it's a fascinating, complex puzzle with massive impact. Essentially effecting ~400 million companies globally. You don't need to be a tax expert already, but you should be curious and eager to learn how corporate taxation works. We'll teach you the tax parts; you bring the software expertise.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Lead the transformation from legacy processes to AI-powered automation in corporate tax
  • Develop bold product visions that excite stakeholders while delivering incremental value
  • Shield your cross-functional team from political distractions while keeping them connected to real user needs
  • Create working prototypes and experiments that demonstrate the art of the possible
  • Help change an organisation's DNA from services-first to software-enabled

To qualify for this role, you must have:

  • Experience building software products in complex B2B domains like fintech or automation
  • Demonstrated ability to influence diverse stakeholders across different countries and business units
  • Hands-on experience with software development, either professionally or through personal projects
  • Practical knowledge of AI and automation technologies and their application to business problems
  • Outstanding written communication skills—your emails and documents should inspire and persuade
  • Independence and self-direction—you know when to seek input and when to make decisions
  • A healthy sense of humour and perspective—transformation is challenging, and a light touch helps
  • Easy access to Copenhagen, Helsinki, or Stockholm (we meet in person weekly)
  • Excellent English speaking and writing skills (our working language)

What sets our ideal candidate apart:

You're a technologist first, business thinker second—but proficient at both. Your resume show more software companies than banks and consultancies. You can build prototypes yourself. You're comfortable being the least knowledgeable person in the room on tax matters, but the most visionary on how technology can transform the work. You bring joy and energy to difficult innovation challenges, and you're brave enough to challenge established ways of working while wise enough to know which battles to fight.

What we offer:

  • Diversity: Our department of ~40 people spans five countries and 19 nationalities, so wherever you are from you are welcome here
  • A genuine product transformation: Not digital window dressing—we're building software that fundamentally changes how tax work happens
  • Direct access to users: Your work matters to people who are quite literally working alongside you
  • Cross-functional team: You'll lead a proper product team with designers and engineers who share your vision
  • SaaS mindset in a professional services firm: Apply tech company principles in a context where they've rarely been tried
  • The chance to lead change: Beyond your product, you'll help shape how an entire organisation thinks about technology
  • Good food and good times: We take care of the people dedicated to our mission

We understand this is a challenging role that requires both technical depth and change leadership. If you're excited about applying software thinking to transform a traditional industry, we should talk.
