You will be a part of a dynamic organization at Taulov Dairy for a strategic project on the future yellow cheese that will look into the influence on microbiology and process parameters on Danbo cheeses?
How will you make an impact
At Taulov Dairy, 65,000 tons of yellow cheese are produced yearly. The main products are both brands for the Danish market (Klovborg and Riberhus) and products for the global market. The dairy has a total of 235 employees.
You will be co-responsible for driving the Danbo Excellence Project in Taulov together the Project Manager. The project is a close collaboration with our NPD (New Product Development) department at AIC (Arla Innovation Center) in Aarhus and the gain are to investigate the connection of microbiology, process parameters and cheese maturation and the influence on the sensory profile of our Danbo cheeses. The project will last at least 1-2 years, with the possibility for extension, but the position at Taulov is a permanent position as there will be a need for more interesting future projects.
Referring to the Associate Director Production, Frits Mogensen, you will work closely with the Chief Specialist, project management at Taulov Dairy, Tina Berg Jerner, and the Project Manager, Mette Børsting from our AIC department. They will be the main drivers in the project.

What will make you successful?
We imagine that you hold education as Production Engineer or Dairy Engineer and come with the right attitude and interest in microbiology, cheese and project management. The right candidate has experience working with projects within the food industry. As a person you are able to combine your analytical and data driven mindset with a can-do-attitude which enables you to challenge stakeholders and find good solutions for Taulov Dairy.
You are known as a somewhat extrovert, yet empathetic, person who listens and interacts effortlessly with colleagues regardless of their profession or organizational affiliation. In other words: it comes naturally to you to connect to people and make them talk and cooperate. On a personal level, you take pride in following through on your tasks and ensuring timely deliveries, and you always base your decisions on facts. Finally, you need proficiency in Danish and English, written as well as spoken.
The role requires occasional travel to Arla Innovation Center, approximately 10-12 days annually.
