The role sits in the Digital and E-commerce team as part of Arla Pro, our global foodservice division, which is a truly international team based in Arla’s Global HQ in Denmark.

How you will make an impact

As our Data & Analytics manager, you will lead the way in collecting more data, build and enrich our analytical models and utilize the potential of AI to support sales and marketing in making more data-driven decisions for the business.

This means that you will work with IT to develop a model that predicts if a chef is likely to be interested to buy a product based on their digital behaviour. And also you will equip sales colleagues with digital solutions, that support them to improve the presence of the Arla products on the digital shelf of the wholesaler.

More specifically you will:

  • Work closely with the commercial teams in our European markets and our channel managers, where you will translate business requirements into IT development.
  • Be responsible for building, delivering and maintaining reporting on KPIs for markets and senior management across our funnel, as well as training our colleagues to get most value out of our tools, such as the Arla Pro Data Kitchen and Digital Shelf Analytics.
  • Act as the Product Owner (PO) in IT development projects, defining and prioritizing Features, Objectives and Spring goals. In addition, you will work with the product owners for marketing automation, CRM and the Arla Pro website along with identifying synergies across digital solutions.
  • Take the lead on improving end-customer data and explore new data sources that can add business value to Arla Pro, wholesalers and indirect customers.
  • Be responsible for developing and maintaining a roadmap for Data analytics capabilities in Foodservice along with further developing and implementing the Arla Pro Data Kitchen and Digital Shelf Analytics.
  • Guide the way in where it makes sense to apply AI capabilities and where it does not make sense.

What will make you successful

We imagine that you have:

  • A master’s degree level or other relevant education
  • Experience with IT development and agile ways of working in a commercial role
  • Have affinity with data analytics, but you don’t need to be an analyst yourself
  • Experience in Foodservice will be an advantage
  • Advanced English skills both verbal and written

You can come either from a business background with affinity with data & technology, or you come from an IT background with a good business sense. The ideal candidate brings a background in the domain of food.

As you will be working with a complex stakeholder environment, spanning different cultures, you need good collaboration and facilitation skills while thriving to engage with people from various backgrounds. To succeed in this role, you also have the drive to lead the change, and take others with you in that direction. You will land in a diverse team with ambition, where we take ownership and have fun.
