Join a global hearing healthcare organization

You will join a main supplier of premium diagnostic audiological equipment used every day in hearing clinics and hospitals around the world. We are looking for a procurement professional who will oversee the procurement part of product development projects from cradle to grave. The position is located at our modern Interacoustics HQ in Middelfart.

A versatile role within strategic procurement with a global outreach

As a Procurement Project Lead, you will represent Procurement in cross-functional product development projects and coordinate dedicated procurement initiatives such as business transfers, cost-down activities, and compliance projects.

Working closely together with our R&D department and category managers, your main tasks will be to:

  • Act as the Procurement representative in cross-functional product development projects.
  • Work closely with R&D and align with the broader Supply Chain organization.
  • Coordinate with Category Management teams in Poland and Denmark.
  • Conduct cost and spend analysis.
  • Coordinate procurement-related ad hoc projects.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and development of global procurement processes and tools.

The position offers the opportunity to take long-term ownership of key procurement activities and contribute to the development of state-of-the-art medical equipment across DGS Diagnostics’ brands and businesses. This has a positive impact on millions of people’s lives worldwide.

A few days of traveling activity per year is to be expected, e.g. to the product sites in Poland or Italy.

Get to know your new team

Our Procurement Project Lead will be reporting to the Strategic Procurement Manager and joining the Global Diagnostics Procurement team consisting of 3 professional and visionary team-members whose seamless collaboration, and fun, informal atmosphere is only matched by the motivation and commitment to making strategic procurement improvements.

Your Background

You have solid business acumen, a strategic mindset, and work well with stakeholders at all levels and from various business areas. You have a commercial/engineering degree e.g., within supply chain, procurement, or similar combined with 1-2 years of experience as a sourcing professional from a technical environment. Furthermore, experience with project coordination and cross-functional collaboration is a plus, but the willingness to learn is more important.

  • Possess effective communication and coordination skills.
  • Are a team player and work well with stakeholders at all levels and from various business areas.

  • Can adjust plans, deadlines, and strategies as needed to accommodate changes and unexpected challenges.
  • Ability to communicate based on facts.
  • You utilize your strategic mindset and solid business acumen when collaborating across the business.
  • You take the initiative to advance your projects effectively.
  • Fluency in English is required, as this is our corporate language.

There is room to shape the role to some extent based on your profile.
