This 12 month maternity cover is a unique opportunity to set direction for our markets and global sub-brands, supporting the development of Heartland campaigns and sustainability initiatives.

How you will make an impact

In Arla, Heartland is a construct we use similar to ‘Masterbrand’ communication. As the Heartland and Sustainability Brand Manager, you will support markets in crafting impactful Heartland campaigns under the new ‘Feed Life’ platform.

You will play a leading role in socializing and embedding the new brand book, ensuring consistency and resonance across all initiatives. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing new media strategies toolkits in this new creative platform, particularly focused on targeting and digital food inspiration, to engage consumers in meaningful ways. You will report directly to the Global Director of Heartland and Sustainability and be part of the dynamic Arla brand team.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead the integration of the new Arla Masterbrand brand book, inspiring markets while driving consistency and understanding of new brand world and design aspects
  • Support creative development of Heartland campaigns under the new platform ‘Feed Life’, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with brand values
  • Develop and implement updated media strategy toolkit, with a focus on digital platforms that inspire food choices and connect with consumers
  • Act as a bridge between creative teams and market stakeholders, and global Arla sub-brand teams, ensuring seamless execution of strategic initiatives

What will make you successful

You are passionate about brand building and bring at least 5 years of experience in brand or marketing management. Besides this, we expect that you:

  • Have experience with building or being part of building successful campaigns and media strategies
  • Possess a keen understanding of digital media and targeting strategies
  • Have a strong ability to work within complex stakeholder environments, demonstrating excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Have a natural knack for being agile and pragmatic, juggling different tasks at the same time
  • Are fluent in English, written and spoken

For this position, you should expect limited travel activities corresponding to a maximum of 10 days within 12 months. The role is located in Viby, Denmark, but remote candidates based in one of our 6 key European markets (incl. Sweden, UK, The Netherlands, Germany and Finland) will be considered. Note that if not based in Denmark, travel activities might increase.
