As our new Chipset Engineer, you will be a part of the “Chipset” domain, which is responsible for the development and verification of integrated circuits (ICs) for hearing aids used by leading global brands like Oticon, Philips, and Bernafon.

In your new role, you will create schematics, develop and produce test systems and work closely together with software engineers and ASIC designers, ensuring the high-quality standards required in medical device development.

Joining us, you can look forward to taking on the following responsibilities:

  • Create schematics, PCB layouts and work on Mixed signal design with focus on signal integrity and EMC
  • Develop and produce test system designs, to enable Verification of prototype ASIC’s.
  • Collaborate across teams, working closely with software engineers, ASIC designers, and external suppliers to enable ASIC testing
  • Refine and mature Test systems, crafting documentation according to internal QMS and regulatory standards.
  • Manage internal deliveries of prototype Hearing instruments
  • Participate in test campaigns

What are we looking for

You most likely have a background in electrical engineering, electronics or software. Maybe you are a newly graduate or you have some years of experience after finishing your education where you have acquired Hands-on experience with Hardware testing, laboratory instruments and error investigations.
You have experience in E-CAD system schematic and layout tools, e.g. Cadence or Orcad and experience in verification and using measurement equipment like PSU, Electronic Load, DMM, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzer and EMC measurement equipment. Furthermore, you have knowledge in EMC design. Maybe you are also familia with Python or C++ programming.

As a person, you have good communication skills, and you are capable of liaising with multiple stakeholders. Finally, you enjoy working in a team, collaborating with others, and you have the ability to handle and prioritize your tasks.
