Procurement Category Buyer Travel - Aarhus

Would you like to join a strategic procurement department where main responsibilities are within the categories Facility, Travel, Professional Services and Laboratory in a company with a great culture and a lot of interesting possibilities?

You will join 200 colleagues in a Procurement team spread across 12 different locations e.g. Denmark, Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, UK, Poland and Hong Kong. On behalf of our global organization, we manage procurement activities with an annual spend of app. 4.3 billion EUR.

How you will make an impact

You will be a part of a smaller team (4 people) focused on procurement of Facility, Travel, Professional Services and Laboratory which again sits within the Procurement Business Service team. In this team we are 15 people in 4 locations and all team members contribute to great team spirit no matter role or location and we foster an inclusive culture where all feel comfortable to speak up.

The procurement team handles global procurement of HR Services, Consultants, Legal, Facility, Laboratory and Travel just to mention a few.

We expect you to successfully navigate the complexity of the Travel category as you:

• Manage negotiation projects, involving and efficiently coordinating between stakeholders and suppliers.
• Develop, launch, and drive RFPs to select suppliers in targeted categories in cooperation with stakeholders.
• Drive the compliance agenda in Arla within your categories together with your procurement colleagues.
• Participate in projects, involving and efficiently coordinating between stakeholders and suppliers.
• Support Category Managers in development of category strategies.

What will make you successful

The optimum candidate will have experience within strategic Procurement and knowledge about some of the categories in scope. Experience from tactical and operational procurement areas could also be interesting.

You must have a commercial mindset and thrive in working with negotiations, building relationships with stakeholders throughout the organization, running projects and optimizing processes.

Furthermore you:

• Hold a relevant education and preferably experience from a similar position which means you have some procurement knowledge including negotiations – both commercial and legal.
• Have a project management mindset ready to support and lead stakeholders from start to end in a procurement process.
• Are resilient and willing to take lead.
• Thrive in building positive relationships and can manage stakeholders on all levels of the organisation.
• Are structured and analytic.
• MS office knowledge (advance level).

Lastly, you are fluent in written and spoken English.
