The Team and the Role

As Visual Merchandising Responsible, you will be part of the Brand & Marketing team, where your primary focus will be on implementing hummel’s visual identity across our global retail touchpoints. You will be responsible for the hands-on execution and coordination of merchandising projects including retail stores, shop-in-shops, showrooms, trade fairs, and point-of-sale (POS) setups.
You will collaborate closely with colleagues across departments as well as with local markets and external partners to ensure consistency and high-quality execution of hummel’s visual expression.

Your key tasks will include:

  • Implement and maintain hummel’s visual identity across global retail, shop-in-shop environments, showrooms, trade fairs, and POS.
  • Support local markets and retail partners in the setup and execution of merchandising guidelines and campaigns.
  • Coordinate and execute updates to showrooms and support the setup of new spaces.
  • Work hands-on with layout planning, fixture placement, product presentation, and styling.
  • Organize and support brand presence at trade fairs, showroom openings, and events such as football club lounge installations.
  • Create and update visual guidelines and documentation for internal and external use.
  • Ensure all visual merchandising aligns with brand strategy and enhances customer experience.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is structured, practical, and creative with solid experience from a similar role in a retail-focused environment. You’re passionate about translating brand identity into visual setups and thrive on seeing your work come to life.

  • 3+ years of experience within visual merchandising, retail design, or store concept execution.
  • A strong retail background is a must – either from working directly with stores or managing physical retail projects.
  • Hands-on experience with the setup of store spaces, POS material, showrooms, and exhibition spaces.
  • Comfortable working on-site, traveling, and getting your hands dirty.
  • Strong project coordination skills and a structured, detail-oriented approach.
  • Ability to collaborate with different teams and adapt brand guidelines to local needs.
  • Fluent in English (Danish is a plus)

• You’re fully independent and confident in your areas of responsibility
• You’ve built strong relationships – internally and externally
• You contribute with insights and help grow and strengthen the team
