About us

Our team is building the embedded software for Bluetooth connectivity in Oticon hearing aids. Our hearing aids connect wirelessly to all smartphones and other devices streaming audio through Bluetooth. To ensure the quality of our software, we have an extensive automated test coverage, both unit testing and integration testing running on real hardware. We are looking for a student assistant with software development experience to assist us expand and improve the verification and automated test coverage in our development pipeline. You will be an integrated part of the daily work, participating in standups and other team activities. Knowledge sharing and collaboration is high-priority, and we combine a friendly and informal atmosphere with some very high-quality standards.

The position is for 10-15 hours per week. We are flexible and adapt the hours to match your exam periods, vacation etc. In this job, you can expect tasks like:

  • Implement automated integration tests using Python.
  • Migrate automated tests running in MATLAB to Python.
  • Contribute to developing and expanding our automated test framework.
  • Improving scripts and tooling in our test setup.

About you

You are in the finishing phase of your bachelor or have just started your masters in the field of software development or similar. You have practical experience with software development, an interest in embedded software, and you understand the value of continuous integration and test automation. You are a proactive person who likes to solve problems and who is not afraid to reach out to colleagues for input and help. We are primarily looking for people with the following competencies and experiences:

  • Python
  • MATLAB
  • Git
  • C/C++
  • Other languages like C#, Java, bash
  • Experience with embedded systems.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
