Join a group of 47 skilled colleagues from Demant Group Procurement who operate out of Denmark and Poland, all focusing on delivering top-notch service. We are looking for a person to continue and expand the Indirect Procurement journey within our company where you will be part of the Indirect Procurement team, located in the Danish HQ in Smørum. The team currently consists of 10 team members (6 in DK and 4 in PL) with reference to the Head of Global Indirect Procurement.
As Senior Category Manager in our Indirect Procurement team, you will collaborate with skilled stakeholders to develop and implement sourcing strategies, review supplier performance, and stay informed about global market trends.
Your responsibilities will include conducting analyses, driving e-sourcing projects and tenders, and implementing negotiation strategies. Additionally, your contributions will be vital in advancing Demant's digital agenda through the application of e-sourcing and other digital tools and systems.
We are seeking a collaborative and experienced procurement professional who is highly commercial and service-minded. It's essential to be meticulous when focusing on specifics, yet also maintain the ability to grasp the overarching concept. Competence in dealing with a complex, globally spread network of stakeholders, along with the aptitude for impactful negotiations both within and outside the organization, is essential.
