Our Global legal team

As we are expanding, we are seeking an additional Paralegal to our department. You will become part of the Danish Group Legal & Compliance team in the global Group Legal & Compliance function consisting of more than 50 skilled professionals around the world, including Denmark, France, Poland, Australia, Canada, and USA, who are all committed to contribute the business advancement.

The close-knit legal team in Denmark consists of 23 highly skilled professionals. We have a great team spirit and working environment. The Danish paralegal team supports stakeholders within Group Legal & Compliance and the Demant headquarters as well as Demant’s global subsidiaries

Your Role in Legal Excellence

As Paralegal, you will work closely with our Senior Paralegal, and you will be interacting directly with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will report to the Senior Vice President, Group General Counsel and be situated in Demant’s headquarters in Smørum, Denmark.

You can look forward to a truly diverse and challenging working day, where you will encounter a variety of tasks, including:

• Assisting in implementing a new IT system.
• Maintaining and updating data on our group companies in the legal entity management system, including incorporating, winding down, general meetings, management changes, amendments of bylaws, power of attorneys.
• Preparing Power Point presentations.
• Processing of documents for signature by management.
• Overseeing the process of legalizing documents with the relevant authorities/foreign embassies etc.
• Facilitating translations from external translators.
• Handling the interaction with Erhvervsstyrelsen and other authorities for the Danish companies.
• Various ad hoc administrative tasks.

When carrying out your tasks, you will work with colleagues in Corporate Functions, Finance, HR, IT, subsidiaries around the world as well as legal colleagues.

Your qualifications include that you have:

• a relevant education within the area “advokatsekretær” or similar.
• a few years’ experience, preferably from either a law firm or an in-house department.
• good IT skills, especially within PowerPoint and preferably an interest in IT systems in general.
• strong interpersonal skills and good interaction with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• great English proficiency as this is the Demant Group corporate language.

Your openness to change ensures that you can handle a range of priorities efficiently. Moreover, you adjust well to shifting demands.
