Your main tasks will be to handle the international tax projects, mergers, and acquisitions within the Demant group alongside the Head of Tax Projects and M&A. The position presents an exciting opportunity to be part of the continued expansion of the Demant group both domestically and abroad in a tax efficient manner.
The Group Tax team consist of 10 skilled and engaged colleagues specialized within transfer pricing, corporate income tax and VAT. All are experienced people within their field of expertise. The atmosphere in the team is friendly and informal and your leader has a coaching and supporting approach to leadership with focus on the opportunities to grow and develop in your role.
When carrying out your tasks, you will work closely with your colleagues in Group Tax, Local- and Global Finance, and external advisors. You will obtain an in depth understanding of the Demant business and gain experience within a wide range of both Danish and international tax legislation.

You will be able to connect with the business, understanding it in a way that enables you to deliver best in class tax advice which is both business and tax functional at the same time.
You will have a lot of influence on the tax projects and the tax aspect of acquisitions, and you will be offered a great opportunity to direct your area of responsibility in a self-driven manner. You will be referring to the Head of Tax Projects and M&A.
You hold a relevant educational background combined with around 4-6 years of relevant corporate income tax experience from an in-house finance function with focus on tax or from an advisory or accounting firm.
To work in the position, you have tax and analytical skills combined with good interpersonal skills. Professionally, you pay attention to the details, but you also take great pride in delivering your tasks and crossing the finish line. You must be fluent in English, both written and spoken, as this is our company language.
As a person, you are able to look at a problem from both a strategic and pragmatic point of view. You pursue the win, but in a humble way, both in your approach to tasks and in your communication with others.

For the programme starting on 1st September 2023, we offer seven different tracks: Finance, Global Business, Commercial Excellence, Audiology, IT, Operations, and Legal.
