The position is full time and we are looking for a candidate who can start as soon as possible. Location of employment: Viborg, Denmark.
As an Engineer at Garia you will be given responsibility of new projects, support for your colleagues or other tasks. You will be given control and responsibility according to your experience and skills. You will have a substantial role in the development of drive modes, UX and the performance of our vehicles.
Garia is a Danish manufacturer of light electric vehicles with both R&D and production in Denmark. The vehicles are sold worldwide.

You will be a part of our Engineering team and stationed at our production facility in Viborg, Denmark. You will be referring to the COO.
Your tasks will include:
- Specification of vehicle harness designs
- Vehicle software development (ECU, BMS and charging algorithms)
- Testing of vehicle software
- Optimizing vehicle electrical architecture
- Improve electrical harness to make sure the vehicles meet regulations
- Serial and production specifications for global sourcing and manufacturing
Expected yearly travel: 20-50 days, mainly within Denmark and Eastern Europe. Travel to China and the USA can occur.
You are a graduated Electrical Engineer with a keen interest in electric automobiles and a flair for electrical harness design and software development. In this position the candidate will have an opportunity to take on a large number of tasks where Garia is looking to strengthen its in-house capabilities. The successful candidate must have experience in making wiring diagrams, harness design drawings for external manufacturers, and some experience in software programming, like C++.
You must be fluent in English, and preferably in Danish. Both written and oral. The candidate must hold a passport which allows easy travel within Schengen (EU), USA and China.
We emphasize you are detail-oriented and have a structured approach to your tasks. Furthermore, we value your focus on improving and efficiency without compromising with quality.
You must hold at least a "B" driver license to allow for test-driving of vehicles in traffic.
