In this role, you will have the responsibility for continuously develop, support and execute successful local/Nordic tender management and processes throughout the tender phases “Pre”-“During”-“Post” – in close collaboration with local/Nordic key stakeholders. The role works across our 4 franchises SportsMed, Advanced Wound Management, Recon and Trauma.

Your closest stakeholders will be Sales Managers, Key Account Managers, the Nordic Tender Team, Customer Service, Nordic Marketing and external stakeholders within public procurement.

Develop and execute successful tender management

As a person, you have a high energy level and you are motived by developing and completing your projects to agreed deadlines via both team work and working independently. The role is based in our office in Hørsholm.

It is your responsibility to take ownership and run a successful local/Nordic tender management process and you will be key in supporting the development of strategic and analytical planning and execution throughout the tender phases.

You understand the importance of securing the “best bids” via a successful and efficient local “tender engine” and you deliver solid and structured project management, coordination and support with high quality standards throughout the tender phases incl. contract related matters.

You will be expected to analyse, structure and present data and opportunities and challenges for the franchises and therefore you must have or acquire strong knowledge about our products and their features/benefits/differentiators in order to understand about positioning in the tenders. You also have a natural interest in understanding the business and the environment we operate in.

As a Nordic Tender Team, we back-up and support each other and share best practice and knowledge. The tender environment is constantly evolving and you must therefore acquire, maintain, share and stay up to date about customers, business potential, competitor activity and legal matters – from a tender perspective.

There are also elements of operational day to day tasks in the role such as preparing and maintaining product- and price lists and offers.

The strong candidate can tick all or most of:

  • Good understanding of the healthcare systems
  • Educated to degree level and/or significant experience within the healthcare sector
  • Strategic and commercial/analytical mind-set combined with tactical/operational skills
  • Advanced/structured project management/leadership skills
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to develop long term relationships both internally and externally at a senior level
  • An eye on the detail and ability to execute flawlessly in a hectic and complex environment
  • Proven experience with tender management within the pharmaceutical/medical devices sector and public procurement
  • Team player with strong social skills
  • Strong achievement drive and positive winning attitude
  • Fluent language skills in local language and high level of written and spoken English
  • Microsoft Office skills are essential (Excel – high level)
  • Limited traveling domestic/Nordic
