Student Software Tester for Digital Asset-Integrity Solutions

Do you enjoy understanding how complex software and hardware works and spotting opportunities for improvement?

We are looking for a Software Tester to support end-user testing of our ultrasonic inspection software, P-Scan.

In this role, you will work closely with our software development team and play an important part in ensuring that new features and improvements meet quality and usability expectations before being delivered to customers.

About the role and key responsibilities

You will join DAIS, a dynamic business unit with approximately 50 employees, delivering innovative digital products and services - primarily to the wind industry, but also to nuclear, oil & gas, and space sectors. Our solutions help ensure product quality and operational excellence for our customers.

Your primary responsibility will be to perform structured end‑user tests based on real‑life usage scenarios. You will report findings, bugs, and improvement suggestions to the development team and assist in validating fixes. During your onboarding period, you will receive guidance and training from experienced colleagues.

Over time, you will become familiar with the software workflows and contribute actively to improving the overall user experience and reliability of the product.

The position is based at our headquarters in Brøndby and you will report to Søren K. Hansen, Senior Team Leader, Digital Asset-Integrity Solutions.

Your profile

We are looking for a student who is interested in developing their skills with us over a longer period. In return, we offer a student position with the opportunity to stay and grow in the role throughout your studies.

Later in your time with us, there may also be an opportunity to develop the position into an engineering internship project that we define together.

Additional information

You likely have:

• A solid ability to understand and work with technical solutions and software systems
• The willingness and ability to work on your own after an onboarding period
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail
• The ability to communicate findings clearly to developers and other stakeholders, both verbally and in writing
• Proficiency in English, as bug reports are submitted in English

It would be an advantage if you have

• Basic knowledge of C# programming
• Experience with software testing, quality assurance or technical products

However, these qualifications are not required, and we welcome applicants from a variety of technical backgrounds.
